The sectors have also been revised, objects and items have been moved and new environment details, including cover options, have been added. 20 new weapons and a new balancing of the existing weapons should give a more realistic impression, including new sounds. The maximum squad size was increased with Wildfire v6.0 from six to ten mercenaries and the screen resolution from 640 × 480 to 1024 × 768 pixels. Starting with the selection of the mercenaries, both the questionnaires for creating your own character and the list of mercenaries were revised and partially replaced. The new features of the game are an extensive revision of the existing game content. The player is supposed to free the island state from the hand of his tyrannical ex-wife Deidranna Reitman with a mercenary troop commissioned by the former ruler of Arulco, Enrico Chivaldori. Therefore, the basic premise and plot of the game have not changed either. Wildfire is not a new game, but a modification of the original game.
